Sold – Staffordshire Figures of Children on Dogs
Staffordshire figures depicting the Royal children riding dogs, circa 1850.
Queen Victoria had a great fondness for dogs and her journal gives an account of the St Bernards having puppies (although her children riding them may have been down to the potters imagination).
The figures are a rare model in good condition and are 220mm high.
